ADAD in partnership with Leeds City Museum present Bloom, a one day festival exploring the creativity, heritage and legacy of Carnival through music, dance and costume.
There will be a host of activities from amazing performances, crafts and dance workshops to stalls filled with African masks and Carnival memorabilia and so much more.
With artists and organisations involved including Claudio Kron DO BRAZIL, Leeds Young Authors, RJC Dance, Mango Arts, Dee-Koyy, and Leeds West Indian Carnival, you know it's time to come and share in the experience of Carnival!!!

Get ready for Carnival...come and be part of the event!! In the lead-up to the Festival we are running Carnival dance and music performance workshops at RJC Dance Studio, Mandela Centre, Chapeltown Road, Leeds LS7 3HY. Learn sizzling Soca Carnival dance moves and some buzzing Brazilian percussion rhythms, then showcase your talents at the event on 17th August.
