Namron, OBE

'If I have seen further, it is by standing on the shoulders of giants' - Isaac Newton, 1676.

The giant in question is none other than Namron who, after 50 years of dance practice in the UK, was recognised in the Queen's Birthday Honors List with an OBE. Congratulations to you from all at ADAD!

Those who know and have worked with Namron will agree that he is one of the dance sector's unsung heroes, an icon having paved the way for Black dancers in the UK.

ADAD are pleased to have coordinated recent awards including Jackie Guy and now Namron. Also a big thank you to those of you who wrote letters of support without which these awards would not have been validated.
