The ADAD Bloom Festival 2013 in Pictures

The spirit of carnival infused Bloom Festival 2013. A total of 4,841 visitors enjoyed this celebration of dance from Africa and her diaspora at events presented at the Black-E in Liverpool, on 19 - 20 July; Pavilion Dance South West in Bournemouth, on 20 July; Leeds City Museum on August 17; and the Bernie Grant Arts Centre, London, on September 28.

Bloom 2013 featured performances and workshops given by: Ballet Nimba; Batch Gueye and Friends; Galang Crew; Craft Creative; Batala/BrazUKa; Movema; Lamin Dumbuya; Felix Olegbosere; Claudio Kron do Brazil; RJC Dance; Dee-Koyy; Mango Arts; Leeds West Indian Carnival; Tabanka African and Caribbean People’s Dance Ensemble; Ivan Blackstock and Company; JAGUYDANCE; AQ Arts; and Nathan Geering.
