Welcome to our winter 2010 edition of Hotfoot online, which kicks off ADAD's year-long celebration of our 15th anniversary!

This year started with the horror of the Haiti earthquake. We wanted to do our part by asking you to give as much as you can to help the nation to recover from this tragedy. We would recommend the Oxfam Haiti earthquake appeal. However there are many other aid agencies bringing much needed assistance to our brothers and sisters in Haiti.

In this issue, Sheron Wray and Zela Gayle tell us more about Feedback 33, a London-based forum that provides practical and creative help for dancers. As our heritage highlight, dance academic, Jane Carr interviews Trailblazer Irven Lewis about his experience of British jazz and popular dance in the 70’s and 80’s. Finally, there’s an update on news here at ADAD and upcoming events for you to attend this winter and spring.

We wish you a wonderful year and look forward to seeing you at an ADAD event soon.
