The Heritage Project

The Association of Dance of The African Diaspora (ADAD) will be showcasing The Heritage Photographic Project in Manchester in the spring.

The Heritage Project commemorates moments from Black British dance from the 1930’s to the 1990’s, and celebrates some of the achievements and contributions that have been made to the British dance sector through a journey that explores themes from the early pioneers of musicals to the cross cultural influences of Africa, America and the Caribbean.


Date of Exhibition: May 2012 to September 2012
Exhibition launch day: Tuesday 15 May 2012, 6pm - 7pm.
