We invite you to share in celebrating the work of our company, our passion for Sabar, West African culture and the life of a very special woman and artist; Yaye Dib, Diene Sagna’s mother. After the success of our 1st JUMPforJOY!! last summer, this year we bring together master drummers Modou Diouf and Mohamed Gueye as well as a young and an incredibly talented and exciting artist, Pape Doudou Ndiaye to join Diene ‘Waaw Waaw’ Sagna in leading a weekend of intensive Sabar training with 6 workshops on offer to students in the UK and from various countries across Europe. Weekend Schedule: SATURDAY 30th JUNE** 12pm – 1:30pm ~ Drumming with Modou Diouf ( Senegal ) 1:30pm – 3pm ~ Dance with Pape Doudou Ndiaye ( Spain ) 3pm – 3:15pm ~ Break 3:15pm – 4:45pm ~ Dance with Diene Sagna ( UK ) 4:45pm – 6pm ~ Showers, terrace for food, drinks and music SUNDAY 1st JULY** 12pm – 1:30pm ~ Drumming with Mohamed Gueye ( UK ) 1:30pm – 3pm ~ Dance with Irineu Nogueira ( UK ) 3pm – 3:15pm ~ Break 3:15pm – 4:45pm ~ Dance with Pape Doudou Ndiaye and Diene Sagna ( Spain and UK ) 4:45pm – 6pm ~ Showers, terrace for food, drinks and music **Teaching slots may be subject to change if required.
